A Boston native, cannabis equity mentor, and consultant, as well as the former Director of Equity and Outreach at the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.

Within this position, she focused on defining equity for the state as well as designing, developing, and overseeing state-wide equity programming and outreach efforts, introducing MA’s, first-in-the-nation, statewide, Social Equity Program.This work centered meaningful participation and inclusion of communities disproportionately harmed by the War on Drugs, marijuana prohibition, arrests, and incarceration.

Additionally, she co-founded the Boston Police Camera Action Team (BPCAT) initiating community influenced policy and successfully outfitting BPD with body cameras. This led to service as Policy Director & Neighborhood Liaison for Boston City Councilor and first African American, woman, President of the City Council, Andrea Campbell.‍
